Third time's a charm (I hope) for the June CTP SDK

The Windows SDK for Vista is a required component for WPF development (ironically except on Vista). Every CTP release it is the most difficult to install/download and there are often numerous complaints, troubleshooting tips and file check-sums posted in the WPF forums. Probably part of the trouble is the SDK’s size - its over 1GB, only a tiny fraction of which is needed for WPF development. The WinFx^H^H^H^H^H .NET 3.0 redistributable is only 50 MB. It looks like this time around its my turn to have trouble with this particular item. The first time the download stopped at around the 500 MB mark. The second time it appeared to download OK but would not install correctly. Lets hope the third time is more successful so I can post my regular “how to get started with WPF development using the latest bits” post on learnwpf.com.

Update: Apparently not this time either…
